Day 10: Favorite thing about him/her?

This one literally took us an entire day to think about, but here goes.

Mena: There’s obviously a bunch of stuff that I love about him, but I think my favourite would have to be, how he’s always there for me, no matter what. Good or bad, I can always count on him to be there to listen, be comforting or just keep me company. I’m incredibly mood swingy and whiny and get depressed about the randomest things, yet he’s never given me shit about it, and I just can’t believe how much he puts up with my crap. That is real love, right there. Even at my worst, he will never turn his back and still sees the good in me, instead of focusing on the bad, like most people would. 

Sam: Having to decide one thing, I would have to say my favourite thing about her is how strange and humorous she is.
She has such a random sense of humor, and it’s something I absolutely love. She can make any given moment a simple joke or funny scene, and we can go back and forth for long periods of time building on it and laughing. I guess what I love about it is that it really is so random and something you’d probably not think funny at all, but she makes it that way. I usually don’t find the sense of humor of others that amusing, but hers is just perfect for me. I guess that’s another thing that made me love her even more.

Day 9: Favorite thing he/she has given you?

Sam: Her hand in marriage. 
(Or the pendant she just got me. I really do love it.)

Mena: My engagement ring. Durr. Or the other really cute kitty ring he got me for Valentine’s Day. I love them both. 

Anniversary Surprise

So, I didn’t write this post last night because it was late and I figured no one was going to see it. Does anyone even care?

But either way, yesterday was Sam and me’s 13th month anniversary. We celebrated it like it was our one year because we weren’t able to be together then due to complications. ;-; 

SO! We woke up, I took him to work with me, came back, took a nap and then we woke up again. We were lazy in bed and got cheesy by singing our song together because we’re saps. Then he says he has another anniversary gift for me and reaches for the same little book box in which he gave me my other gifts in, The Drink Me necklace and Eat Me biscuit. Inside there was this cute miniature cake along with another tag. I flip it over and..Needless to say, I was not expecting that. He says my expression was priceless. Then he pulled out this really nice box which had the ring in it. I obviously said yes between sobs. The ring is beautiful. And ajgsd I just can’t believe it.

I had arranged for us to go to The Melting Pot for our anniversary dinner, which is where we had our first official date. Or so I think. Because I wanted the experience to be proposed to in public, I asked him to propose again. >w> 

The table was set up with rose petals and we were in a private corner, and it was beautiful and so romantic. 

Look at him. He’s so happy to be here. 

We had our delicious dinner, Spinach and Artichoke fondue, then some meats for him and veggies for me which we cooked ourselves in this yummy broth and then the most orgasmic chocolate fondue with caramel and candied nuts. We both had mini orgasms. Before the dessert arrived I had this bouquet of roses delivered to me from Sammy and aaah. <3

It was all just so perfect. -w-

When the right moment came, he came over to my side and kneeled down again, pulling out the ring and proposing to me. For the second time. I got just as emotional as the first. There was this couple sitting on the next table over and the girl watched us and got emotional too and congratulated us and it was so amusing. We ended up chatting with her and her husband a bit afterward. She was saying how we were going to remember the crazy lady that was there the night we got engaged. And I think we definitely will. xD 

Afterward we just came back to the hotel and had our own special celebration time. It was the perfect and probably the most happy day of my life so far. 

I love you, Sam. I cannot wait to finally be called your wife. <3 

TL;DR: Sam and I are now engaged. For srs. We are happy. And in love. And also a little stupid.

Day 8: Favorite thing you’ve given him/her?

Mena: For me it would be the pendant that I just recently gave him for our anniversary. It’s heart shaped and has some meaningful words for him to always keep close and never forget.(=`ω´=)~

Sam: It was something important that I gave her today. But you won’t find out until tomorrow what it is. :I
